The
recent fog may have caused chaos for travellers in the UK with the
closure of airports, however one "airport" shone through
the mist. These amazing pictures were taken on the morning of 19th
December by pilot and photographer Tony Crowe. Seen here are a small
selection of the stunning pictures which Tony took.
Tony is a private pilot based and flew from nearby Cranfield airport
and managed to get these spectacular, unusal and seasonal pictures.
They show the sheds in their true grandure and scale, and give a
sense of how the sheds would have been seen by the ships in the
1920's.
