He
was a rigger and survived the initial crash but died in
hospital at Beauvais from his injuries, aged thirty one.
He was seen trying to pull a girder off his foot when he
was engulfed in flames. He lost an eye in the immediate
disaster and was facing an operation to amputate one or
more limbs. He lived at 6 Foster Street, Bedford.
