As a voluntary-run organisation, we rely on the income from our talks, membership subscriptions and sales. We receive no government or local authority funding. All of our Trustees and volunteers offer their time for free in running the organisation, and giving up evenings and weekends to help out
Membership is vital to us as we do not receive any additional Funding or corporate backing, and so we rely totally on voluntary help and donations and the generosity of the support from membership. We also raise money through donations made at our talks programme and lectures.
However, with the rising costs for postage and printing, we are always dependent on our membership to form the bulk of our income.
