Limited edition R 100 flight to Canada Commemorative Cover

To commemorate the final flight of the H.M.A. R 100, the Airship Heritage Trust have created a 90th anniversary of the Canada flight commemorative cover.

Just 100 numbered covers have been produced. The acrylic painting of H.M.A. R-100 leaving Cardington on 29th July 1930, is by local artist Joe Burrows.
The rear shows off the 'rounded-stern' of H.M.A. R-100, leaving the mast at St. Hubert aerodrome, near Montreal, Canada - pencil drawing by local artist Rae Goddard.

All have been signed by Elisabeth Gaunt, sole surviving daughter of Sir Barnes and Molly Wallis (see photo: courtesy Vivien White), Humphrey Wallis their grandson, and Romilly Meager, son of R-100 First Officer, Capt. George F. Meager AFC.

Each one is 'hand-stamped' with a unique Airship Heritage Trust cancellation by the Royal Mail.

All proceeds of the sale of these covers go to our charity.
